“Sometimes the strength within you is not a fiery flame that all can see. Sometimes it is just a tiny spark that whispers softly, “You got this, keep going.”"
Early in life I struggled with seeing and trusting my spark, and I found myself searching for it in different jobs and relationships. Nothing stuck. The jobs quickly became soul crushing, and relationships would fade, and I would be left with a nagging sense of emptiness. At that point, I started to make small investments in myself. I started with little things that made me happy and put a smile on my face, and that is when my confidence began to grow. This confidence was the spark I needed to reignite my passion for life, start taking risks, and opening myself up to new opportunities! One of those opportunities being that I joined the movement of Glow Sis and get to share my story in hopes of helping another sister find her Spark.

My glow up didn’t happen until my early twenties. Between grieving the loss of my dad, not being confident and living life, and unsure of what direction I wanted to go. I knew this wasn’t working for me anymore and I hit rock bottom. You see, I have always been super giving and put others before myself. When I reflected on that, I realized by putting everyone before myself, I got lost in the mix! It was then that I thought "your husband, your family, and your friends are better when you are your best self!" So, I decided to focus on me. Now I could teach, learn, and condition myself to create the life I wanted and become the person I wanted to be. This year I will continue to love myself (mind, body, and soul), finally follow my passion to be a social media influencer, and travel as much as possible! I’m so eager to see what the future holds!! 2023 This queen is gonna change the world you just wait and see!

What is my Glow Up? Dallas born; Edmond raised! I’m a single mother of the coolest 12-year-old! He has been the most powerful catalyst in motivating me to keep chasing my dreams. My hopes will show him that his are within reach no matter what. Being a minority, a woman, and a mother have all had their challenges, but the results have been nothing short of extraordinary. I look forward to what lies ahead as I have full confidence it’ll be ‘glowing’

I have a degree in communications from the University of Oklahoma and I am always striving for my dreams! In the last 1.5 years, I have lost 130lbs by disciplined eating and working out. My relationship with food has always been a challenge for me, and it is still a work in progress. It is much better now than it ever was before. I recently started a fitness insta in hopes to share all my tips and tricks to overcoming my food addiction. I want to inspire and motivate the average person that does not know where to start! You can be sure when it goes public soon, it will be full of amazing content! I have also started modeling recently, and it has been the most encouraging and fun experience. My goal is to get signed to an agency in the coming months so that I am able to take everything that I am working for to the next level! I absolutely cannot wait to see where this goes... Glo Sis Glo!
